Dr. Joe Receives High Honors

Dr. Joe Receives High Honors Joseph D. Salamone D.C., D.A.A.P.P.,F.R.C.C.M. was recently appointed to the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Advisory Board for Chiropractic Specialists. In addition, Dr. Salamone was promoted to full Professor by American International University for teaching chiropractors, neurosurgeons, orthopedics and pain management specialists pioneering advancements between the medical and chiropractic professions. The Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons is the most prestigious, exclusive and oldest medical institution in the world. The British started the first Royal College in the year 1645, and admitted the most famous doctors, who in turn, trained selected but few other physicians, and honored them with distinct titles signifying membership in the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), as well as the College of Surgeons (MRCS etc…). The following countries have a Royal College: United States of America (USA), England, Ireland, Australia, South Africa, Canada, Thailand, etc. These are sister colleges and are independent of one another. The Royal College of the U.S.A. emphasizes quality of health care delivery, a commitment to continuing education, and the use of science and art of medicine and surgery to benefit others. Dr. Salamone presented papers at the recent International Conference on “Spinal Biomechanics”, “The New Frontiers of Manipulation Under Anesthesia for Disc Disorders” and “Hospital Inclusion and the Chiropractic Profession”. Congratulations, Dr. Salamone on this international appointment and honors. HEALTH CLUB TO OFFER PROGRAM FOR SENIOR CITIZENS

December 11, 2006, Secaucus, New Jersey. Atlantis Health and Fitness, located at 600 Plaza Drive in Secaucus announced a new fitness and nutrition program specifically designed for Seniors. The program, entitled “Seniorcise” is a 12-week program focusing on both fitness activities and educational seminars related to nutrition, exercise and relaxation. The program offers full use of the facility Monday through Friday from 9am-Noon and includes a free special activity or educational workshop each week. All participants are entitled to a free equipment orientation with a certified personal trainer. Group walks will be held each Friday followed by “coffee and”, including a social aspect to the program as well.

Enrollment is open now through the first week of January. The 12-week program begins on Monday, January 8.
